Opportunities to Help

LifeCare functions because of dedicated individuals who have caught our vision, agree with our mission and are willing to stand with us. These individuals support us by their time, gifts, finances and prayer. Would you join them?

Women's Auxiliary:

Join our newest venture, the Women's Auxiliary. This is a great way for you to serve the ministry. You will receive periodic emails requesting specific LifeCare needs. For example: diapers, baby bottles, and new baby clothes. Serve as your schedule permits. No guilt. No obligation. All we need is your name and e-mail. To sign up email: womensaux@lifecarenc.org

Volunteering:

Client Advocate, who meets with clients each week. This requires an initial 38-hour training and one 4-hour shift each week upon completing the training.

Receptionist, who is the usually the first person to greet and welcome clients as they come in for appointments. This requires an initial 4-hour training and one 4-hour shift per week.

Administrative Assistant, who helps the staff organize literature, mailings, etc. Flexible weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly commitment.

Nurse, who provides sonograms for clients.  This requires the volunteer to be nurse-certified before joining LifeCare.  The position also requires an initial 38-hour training and one 4-hour shift each week upon completing the training.

Chaperone, who assists the sonographer during the sonograms for our clients.  This requires an 8-hour on-floor training and a commitment of 3 hours, once a week.

Abstinence Education Presenter, who goes into the public schools and churches with the abstinence team to present the message of waiting until marriage. This requires an initial training and a varied weekly (typically day-time) commitment based on scheduled presentations. These volunteers require energy, spunk and a heart for teens.

Post-Abortion Client Advocate, who meets with post-abortive clients seeking healing. This requires an initial training and a varied commitment based on client demand. These volunteers typically lead groups through a study, but may work one-on-one.
