Educators
LifeCare offers a sexual purity and character development message to
young people through trained staff members. Our training process
insures each staff is qualified and passionate about speaking this
message to young people.
In Public Schools
Our message is simple: the best, safest sex is experienced within the
marriage relationship. We provide a curriculum that covers topics as
STDs, teen pregnancy, what is "safe sex," relationships, dating, music
and media influence. All have an emphasis on self-respect, sexual
integrity, respect for others and personal responsibility. The
presentations can be formatted to meet the individual group need. We
have been a leading guest presenter in the Wake County Public Schools
Sex Education Curriculum, and our curriculum is consistent with the
guidelines of the NC Department of Education and the Wake County School
Board. While LifeCare operates as a faith-based organization and
upholds the Biblical value of abstinence until marriage, our message
presented in the public school setting is not in conflict with any
state or county laws or regulations. Our message is not religious but
value-based and is therefore relevant to anyone regardless of religious
affiliation.
In Parochial Schools
When presented in a parochial school setting or within a church
context, our core message remains the same; however, we do expand our
content to embrace the freedom to speak openly of faith issues, our
Biblical values and the freedom and life offered through Jesus Christ.
