negotiation or discussion with the person who has assaulted you.

ensure that you are in a safe place, out of all contact with your
assailant.

and those organizations committed to helping you.Call 911
and let the police help you. Follow their instructions carefully and
fully to insure your protection now and in the days ahead.

(919) 828-7740 for Domestic Violence Services.
Staff and volunteers trained concerning domestic violence, sexual
assault, and incest are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via
two phone lines. Counselors offer crisis counseling, information,
assistance with shelter, emotional support, and referrals to other
agencies as needed. Interact offers 24 hour crisis lines, counseling,
court advocacy, residential shelter, hospital response/SAFE center,
children services, refugee.

ensure your welfare, contact LifeCare.Our offices are open to aid you
in the areas of possible pregnancy. We provide pregnancy tests, trained
peer counseling, community resource referrals, and limited ultrasound
imaging. All our services are free and confidential.We want to support
you in any way we can.
Remember, it is not your fault. Rape and assault
are never your fault, there is never a good reason
for someone to treat you with violence.
